FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Minneapolis, Nov. 7, 2016 — Red Circle is happy to announce receiving two silver awards in the 11th Annual W3 Awards. The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) recently unveiled the winners of these prestigious awards, which honor the best of the web, including websites, marketing programs, social content, mobile site/apps and online video. Endorsed and judged by the AIVA, a group comprised of top-tier professionals, applicants are held to a high standard of excellence throughout the judging process.
Among nearly 5,000 entries, Red Circle secured two silver awards for their work on Kentucky Downs Gaming’s website. The awards were won in two separate categories: General Website Categories: Entertainment, and Website Features: User Experience. Entrants ranged from small agencies to Fortune 500 companies. Red Circle competed against distinguished companies like Swarovski, Wall Street Journal, IBM Corporation, AT&T, Walt Disney Studios, Pepsi Co., Netflix, Yahoo, and others.
The Kentucky Downs website was not only successful for its W3 wins and its functionality or looks — the website saw an 18% organic lift in search traffic year-over-year.
“This was a huge win for us,” says Angel Suarez, Red Circle’s Executive Vice President. “It just goes to show how dedicated our team is to crafting award-winning websites and creative.” This isn’t the first W3 Award Red Circle has received; the agency won a Silver Award in the “Casino Website Branding” category in 2015 for their work on Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort's website— one they built from the ground up.
