So, what do I do as a Red Circle Associate Director of Digital Marketing?

The Associate Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for co-managing a team of digital specialists and strategist and developing, executing, and monitoring strategic and tactical cross channel media plans for our clients. This position supports our business through planning and evaluating client digital media plans and programs. In addition, you will be the steward of digital media budgets and new business as it relates to digital media. You function well in a fast paced and a rapidly changing agency setting.

Your responsibilities:

Accountable for building, developing, implementing and maintaining digital media plans that deliver against client’s strategies/objectives
Works on new business as part of integrated team
Develop and present digital media recommendations to internal teams, and external clients
Experience with budget planning and forecasting across media plans
Achieve the financial goals of the accounts by managing costs, revenue, and scope of work in accordance with client contracts.
Demonstrate leadership by identifying trends, opportunities, issues, and best practices across digital landscape to ensure the agency stays competitive
Provide POV on various digital media in the marketplace
Coach your team and contribute to their career growth
Seek out new opportunities to grow clients’ business
Perform as a leader with minimal supervision
Oversee and foster cross agency relationships with traditional media, account, creative, analytics, and outside vendors /partners

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising or communications
5 years minimum of digital marketing experience in an agency setting
Google Analytics Certification a plus
Experience with Facebook Business Manager
3+ years minimum of previous management experience
Talent for leading and invigorating a team
Experience in managing multiple clients and types of projects
Strong communication, time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
Skilled communicator with the ability to present your ideas through compelling story telling
Strong understanding of how digital media channels are effective and the ability to communicate trade-offs between strategy and tactics.
Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel occasionally

Skills

High level of Excel knowledge and PowerPoint experience. Keynote experience a plus
Other MS office experience
Strong math skills
Attention to detail in both written and verbal communication
Ability to work with modest media budgets
Effective speaker who can tailor the message as appropriate with team, clients, and external vendors
