As a member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Tribe of Minnesota, Chad has deep roots in Native American culture and the advertising business. When those roots entwined, things got interesting. Grand Casino Hinckley initially hired him to be their Director of Advertising in 1998. After learning the ins and outs of the business, Chad launched his own casino marketing agency in 2001 and named it Red Circle.
His pride and joy has become a full-service marketing operation that specializes in Indian gaming casinos, with more than 125 casino clients and partners across the United States. In 2009, he created Casino Data Technologies, which spawned RECON, a database software system that more than 20 casinos currently use to manage, analyze, and report on their marketing programs.
When he’s not running the whole shebang at Red Circle, Chad turns his attention to travel, photography, and sports. He often wears a hipster hat to distract attention from chronically sprained ankles, the result of playing pick-up basketball and trying to recall past glories through feeble attempts to dunk.
